He is survived by: his spouses, Valyne Headrick and Alice Dinkel (Kosmicki); his siblings, Alice Howard (Ron), Norma Wymore and Dan (Alice); his children, Steve Dirks (Ari), Mark Dirks (Ruth), Kevin Dirks and Kristen Lawrie; and his stepchildren, Kim, Tina and Rick.
