He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Ernesto Castro; his daughter Brandy Salazar; and his granddaughter Sophia Wadsworth. He is survived by: his wife Belinda of Greeley; his children, Belinda Salazar-Hoopes (Thomas) of Greeley, Lindsay Salazar (Mark Wadsworth) of Greeley and Ricardo Jr. (Wendy) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Alec of Lauren, Ricardo III, Skyler, Adalynne, Mason, Victoria, Maya, Noah and Dante; and his siblings, Mercedes, Sergio, Maria, Alberto, Victor, Hector, Sonia and Ramon.
