He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his children, Karrie Pepek (Larry), Kristin Yura (Mike), Jill Kuck (Kurt) and Steve Brinster (Deb); his siblings, Jan Rehnke and Roger Brinster; and his grandchildren, Grace, Kaileigh, Danielle, Trevor, Leah and Owen.
