He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Armstrong and Elsie Armstrong (Oplinger); and his siblings, Bill, Jim and Gloria.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Armstrong of Greeley; his children, Jon Armstrong (Marissa) of Littleton and Kimberly Heismann (Chris) of Winterset, Iowa; and his brothers, Stanley Armstrong and Thomas Armstrong of Arona, Penn.. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
