He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elsa of Greeley; his children, Maria C. Martinez of Greeley, Geraldine Mandez of Commerce City and Sean Mandez (Becky) of Westminster; his mother Mary Padilla of Greeley; and his siblings, Alva Padilla of Eaton, Mary Soto of Eaton, Rosemary Vargas (J. R.) of Evans, Lynda Mata of Greeley, Priscilla Baca of Greeley, Cathy Allen of Modesto, Regina Morochol of Pocatello, Idaho, Max Padilla of Greeley, Nicholas Baca (Susan) of Windsor and David Baca (Lucy) of Ft. Collins. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; one great-grandson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
