With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carla Shankle of Greenwood Village, Colorado, born in Casper, Wyoming, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carla left this world on May 18, 2024 at the age of 62, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by : her husband Matt; her parents, Phyllis and Gene; and her sister Marta Randell. She is survived by : her children, Alexandra, Geno, Holly and Kelsey; and her siblings, Tina Wildes and Mark Schneider. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and good friends.

A memorial service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Most Precious Blood Catholic Church (2200 S Harrison St, Denver, CO 80210).

“To all of you close to Carla. What terrible news. I am so sad for what she must have gone through, especially leaving four young adults whom I know she loved so much. I first met Carla at a school function… We have two kids the same age as hers. Her natural warmth, kindness, lack of competitiveness and genuine heart struck me immediately. She was always welcoming and warm to me and my family. We are heartbroken for you all. Carla will be remembered always. With much love, The Ham Family.”
