He was predeceased by: his parents, A. J. McCormick and Lorraine McCormick; his wife Mary; and his siblings, Kathy Hamby, Barbara Bergquist and Daniel A. McCormick.

He is survived by: his children, Lorraine (David) and Donald McCormick (Deanne); his grandchildren, Melanie Sanchez (Jason), Katarina Washechek, Colby McCormick and Evangeline McCormick; and his great grandchildren, Stefan and Adalind Sanchez.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes support of the Wounded Warrior Project and the Alzheimer's Association.
