With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Anita Petty of Henderson, Colorado, born in Harrisburg, Arkansas, who passed away on October 20, 2023 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Anita Petty to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her son R. Scott Petty of Pueblo, Colorado; and her parents, John Yarbro and Juliet Yarbro. She is survived by : her daughter Leah Petty of Henderson, Colorado; her daughter-in-law Theresa Hamilton of Pueblo, CO; her former life partner Roy Petty; and her stepdaughter Carla Shirley of Arkansas. She is also survived by nephews and caring friends.

In lieu of food and flowers, donations may be made to the local chapters of the National Kidney Foundation or Donate Life America.
