She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Gomez and Tillie Gomez (Gurule); her son Stewart Avery; and her sister Judy Guiterrez. She is survived by: her husband Michael; her children, Chris Ortiz (Stacey) of Colorado City, Luis Ortiz (Tina) of Colorado City, Elizabeth Hainer (Brad) of Bristol and Sarah Settles (Eric) of Lamar; and her siblings, Sally Tenorio (Jim) of Thornton, CO, Peter Gomez of Lamar and Marvin Gomez of California. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
