He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonita Violet Larkins (McDowell) and Howard Kirkwood Larkins II; and his sister Susan. He is survived by: his sister Luanne; his son Kirk; and also, Wendy, Erica, Kara, Jackson, Josiah, Ellianna and Myer.
