He was predeceased by : his parent Italian; his wife Shirley Deborski; and his brothers, Guido, Geno and Johnny.

He is survived by : his children, Richard L. Gaz, Roxanne L. Rutledge (Andrew) and Randall L. Gaz; his brother Harry Gaz; and his grandchildren, Katherine A. Rutledge, Michael L. Rutledge, Anna L. Rutledge and Charles D. Rutledge.
