She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Thompson and Mary Thompson; and her siblings, Arlene Talbot and Gordon Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Darrell Gretz; her children, Jerry Gretz (Terri), Jim Gretz (Carrie), Donna DeVisser (Steve) and Mary Jo Kerlin (Eric); her grandchildren, Kate Gretz, Doug DeVisser, Kimberly DeVisser, Kenny Gretz, Will Gretz and Zane Gretz; and her great grandchild Hadley Gretz.
She knitted, embroidered and tatted at times but continued to crochet her entire life, with stitches remaining tight and beautiful on her hundreds of donated baby blankets, even as her eyesight faded and her heart failed.
