“To the fair family, I know this is a tough one. Your mother was so much, to so many. She was the hardest working woman that I've ever known. While working hard to always have the best dinner parties, best yard, best family, she never frowned on another, and was always willing to help. The world has lost a beautiful person, that I dearly loved. I pray for your comfort, as I grieve with you. Love you all.”

“I was always introduced as her daughter that fell into a tub of bleach! So many precious memories. Her family was my family. She taught me work ethic, cooking(she was happy to know that I no longer burn cornbread), life and love. The last time I spoke to her, she seemed to repeat herself, not remembering what she had just said. She told me she loved me and I will always be her child, multiple times. I will forever cherish those words, and she will always be my other mother. I love you Ms Susie.”
