He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Irvin and Mary Amanda Birt (Miller); his wife Gloria D. Birt; his daughters, Sonya Ortiz and Renee Birt; his sister Faye Higgins; and his grandson Russell.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Birt, Sr. (Donna) of Great Bend, KS and Kristina Birt of Pueblo, CO; and his siblings, Danny Birt, Donald Birt, Robert Birt, Louise Clevenger and Eugene Birt. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
