He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester LaCost and Freda LaCost (McCracken); his siblings, Mark LaCost, Gene LaCost and Doris Hughes; and his nephews, Marc Hughes and Trent LaCost.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, Jason Yant (Jennifer) of Lamar, J. Lee LaCost (Desiree) of Lamar and Janine Pankey of Lamar; his grandchildren, Autumn, Winter, Nathaniel, Abigail, Cade and Gaige; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Charlotte and Alexander; his siblings, Ed LaCost (Nita) of Lamar, Duane LaCost (Pamela) of Kendall, KS, Clare Rogers of Los Cruces, NM and Karen Sperra (Marlin) of Wiley; and his sister-in-law Shirley LaCost of Lamar. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
