With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene A Phillips (Lamar, Colorado), born in Oakley, Kansas, who passed away on August 1, 2018 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Sylvester Lee Lester II and Kenneth L.; her siblings, Archie Urie, Albert Urie, Lawrence Urie, Fred Urie and Emma Miller; and her sons-in-law, Chester "Al" A. Green, Jr. and John L. Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Anita Green of Oak Creek, CO, Lee Lester III (Vickie) of Buena Vista, CO, Cynthia Kasza of Lamar, CO, Patricia Woelk (Mike) of Cape Girardeau, MO and Linda Smith (Richard Jara) of Lamar, CO.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
In memory of Irene Phillips, the family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Irene A. Phillips Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
