He was predeceased by: his parents, Florencio William and Tecla Spitz (Swabecher); his wife Sue Spitz; and his grandson Isaac Moreno. He is survived by: his daughters, Frankie Nichols of Lamar and Sandy "Lucy" Spitz of Lamar; his sister Pauline Spitz of Welch, OK; and his nephews, Joe A. Spitz of Lamar and William Spitz of Las Animas, CO. He is also survived by three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
