He was predeceased by : his parents, Melvin Stagner and Polda Hoeffner-Stagner; his former life partner Georgia Mae Stagner; and his brother Jesse Stagner. He is survived by : his sons, Clayton Stagner of Independence, MO, Joe Stagner, Jr. (Tammy) of Lamar and Rick Stagner of Lamar; his siblings, James Stagner (Francis) of Lamar and Juanita Dieckman of Alamosa; and his close friend Jean McCullough. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
