He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Navarrette and Pasqualla Navarrette; his daughter Jennifer L. Navarrette; and his siblings, Ramona Nevarez and Manuel James Navarrette.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Navarrette; his children, Laura Simmons Landeche (Larry) of Metairie, LA, John Navarrette (Maria) of Lamar, CO, Raymond Navarrette (Sharon) of Colorado Springs, CO and Sarah Archer (Jeremy) of Turpin, OK; and his siblings, Joe Navarrette, Mike Navarrette (Alice), Alfred Navarrette (Sylvia), Jane Navarrette, Albert Navarrette, Gloria Moreno (Matteo), Inez Pizania, Tina Pardo, Paul Navarrette (Becky), Rosie Amaya (Arnold), Teresa Cole (Kenneth) and David Navarrette (Robin). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
