Amaya (Lamar, Colorado), born in Santa Cruz, California, who passed away on December 8, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Amaya and Mabel Amaya; his siblings, Gloria, Buddy, Wayne and Mel; and his grandchildren, Grace and Gabriel.
He is survived by: his wife Carmen Amaya; his sister Dixie Gulyas (Amaya); his children, Calvin Amaya, Leo Amaya, Jr. (Dena), Cathy Griffith (Don), Amaya Jaime and Michelle Jaime (Herman); and his grandchildren, Tonia, Calvin Jr., Celeste, Feather, Courtney, Josh, Aaron, Ashtyn, Xander, Addison, Arick, Jeremy and Jerrika. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, and many great friends.
