He was predeceased by: his brother Dean Schwartz; his parent-in-law Frank Neuhold; and also Esther Neuhold. He is survived by: his wife Jean Schwartz; his children, Rod Schwartz (Lynn) of Lamar, Gary Schwartz of Lamar and Melinda Sneller (Terry) of Dodge City, KS; his grandchildren, Becky Schwartz, Kristin Bond (Matthew), Jason Schwartz, Seth Sneller (Beth), Erin Schwartz and Jordan Schwartz; his great grandchildren, Morgan, Tyler, Alyssa, Isabel, Bailey, Cass and Jolee; his sister Thelma Cole; and his sisters-in-law, Patsy Schwartz, Margaret Thompson, June May and Elaine Davison. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar High School FFA and/or the charity of one's choice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
