He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Lucille Ortiz (Gomez); his brother Stewart Avery Ortiz; and his grandparents, Bob Ortiz, Pete and Tillie Gomez.
He is survived by: his father Michael Ortiz of Bristol, CO; his wife Tina Ortiz; his children, Luis A. Ortiz, Jr. (Emily) of McClave, CO, Alyssa Soll (Trent) and Jaxon Ortiz; his grandchildren, Kenli Ann Soll and Gracie Lou Jane Soll; his grandmother Lola Ortiz of Granada, CO.; and his siblings, Chris Ortiz (Stacey) of Colorado City, CO, Elizabeth Hainer (Brad) of Bristol, CO and Sarah Settles (Eric) of Lamar, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
The family is requesting that everyone in attendance wear a mask.
