Maurice Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2019, at the age of 98, Maurice Smith (Lamar, Colorado) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Smith and Leatha Smith (Kilgore); his wife Wilma Smith; his brothers, Blynne Smith of Lamar, Eugene Smith of Lamar and Paul Smith (Shorty) of Lamar, Colorado; and his sisters-in-law, Bernice Smith and Floy Smith of Lamar.

He is survived by: his children, Evan Smith (Deb) of Lamar, Dee Millbrand (Gene) of Pueblo and Jo Elmore (Ben) of Vinita; his grandchildren, Yonda Leonard (David Walker) of Plainview, Joanna, Patterson of Kim, Ty Jones (Bobbi) of Walsh, Terra Gray (Dean) of Pueblo, Kalye Griffin (Tyler) of Guymon, Jason Elmore (Jennie) of Waukomis, Mindy Collins (John) of Pueblo, Elgin Elmore (Jolene) of Hominy and Rickey Jones (Michelle) of Pueblo, Colorado; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Smith of Lamar, Colorado. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
