She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton F. S. and Marjory Shaver (Chapell); her sister Carol Sue Higgins; and her husband Duane Edward Gillespie. She is survived by: her sons, Rory Gillespie (Karen) and Keith Gillespie (Marcia); her grandchildren, Nathaniel Gillespie (Katharina), Hilah Gillespie, Jonathan Gillespie (Amanda) and Evan Gillespie; and her great grandchildren, Joshua and Zachary Gillespie.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Lamar, Lamar Area Hospice, Care Net Pregnancy Center and/or Sparrow House of Lamar either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
