Shirley R. Thom Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley R. Thom of Lamar, Colorado, born in Spokane, Washington, who passed away on May 24, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Poffenroth and Adelaide C. Poffenroth (Erickson); her husband James R. Thom; her brother Jack Poffenroth; and her nephew Jerry Poffenroth.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Henderson (Jim) of Lamar, CO; her granddaughters, Rebecca Paeth (Matt) of Longmont, CO and Elizabeth Stoker (Jeremiah) of La Junta, CO; her great grandchildren, Peyton, Parker and Larsen; her stepgrandchildren, Chris Henderson (Karen) of Lamar, CO and Charity Rink (Kevin) of Bristol, CO; her sister-in-law Pat Poffenroth of Edmonds, WA; and her niece Gail Radke.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Medical Lake High School Music Program in memory of James and Shirley Thom in Medical Lake, Washington in care of the funeral home office.
