He was predeceased by: his father Ysabel Vargas; his brother Thomas Vargas; his stepfather Ramon Pena; and his parents-in-law, Arthur and Tavy Alvarado.
He is survived by: his mother Martina Vargas (Medina) of Granada, CO; his wife Sally; his sons, Carlos (Dana) of Pueblo West, CO, Manuel II (Kathy) of Lakewood, CO and Marcus (Nicole) of Castle Rock, CO; his grandchildren, Kristian, Darian, Dylan, Kaitlyn, Emilee, Kentley and Jase; his great grandchildren, Harper and Peyton; and his sisters, Lucille Medina of Lamar, CO, Amelia Hernandez (Angel) of Manter, KS and Regina Hernandez (Alfredo) of Garden City, KS. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
