He is survived by: his wife Diane "Dinny" Peterson; his children, Terry Peterson (Kathy), Melissa Cole (John) and Kimberly Simpson (Ian); his grandchildren, Jena Holt (Jason) and Evan Simpson (Olivia); his great grandchild Tyler Holt; and his sister Evelyn Pierce.
