He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Archie Haynes and Grace Haynes; his brother Robert Haynes; his wife Lenore Lucille "Sue" Lawson; his sons, Craig Haynes (Sharon), Mark Haynes (Lily) and David (Billie); his grandchildren, Carolynn Hogg (Dustin), Johnny Hinkle (Carrie), Amber Venezia (Frank), Justin Haynes (Elizabeth), Andrea Haynes, Elsa Haynes and Mireia Haynes; and his great grandchildren, William Hinkle, Barry Hinkle, Heather Hogg, Erynn Hogg, Keven Hogg, Francis "Frank" Venezia, Amelia Venezia and Sophia Venezia.
