It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffery Keith Opatril (Longmont, Colorado), who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jeffery departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jeffery. Though Jeffery may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Gloria Nixdorf Blackwell; his daughter Alexa Opatril; his sister Stefanie Opatril Ray; his grandparents, Clarence, Esther Nixdors, Rudy and Marie Opatril; and his father Ben Blackwell. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel (326 Terry St, Longmont, CO 80501).
