She was predeceased by: her parents, Rafael Farrer and Aurora Cruz; and her brothers, Rafael Farrer Jr. and Oscar Farrer. She is survived by: the father of her children Carlos Hernandez Sr.; her sons, Steven Hernandez and Carlos Hernandez Jr.; her daughter-in-law Ruby Hernandez; her grandchildren, Yasmine Hernandez, Valeria Hernandez, Ciera Hernandez, Xander Hernandez, Leo Hernandez and Omar Hernandez; and her pet Sammy.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Colorado in her honor.
