He was predeceased by : his parents, Evelyn and George; his brothers, Robert and John; and his granddaughter Tamara.

He is survived by : his wife Josie Ficco; his son Joseph Calhoon (Claudia); his brother Bill; his grandchildren, Aaron (Mary T.) and Andrea Meruelo (Ernesto); and his great grandchildren, Alexander, Julia, Thomas and Woodrow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in Dave's name to HopeWest Hospice in Montrose.
