He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Ed Kontny and Ruth Kontny of Julesburg, Colorado.; his wife Joan Dashwood Kontny; his children, Natascha Gundersen (Jan) of La Cañada, California, Michael Kontny of Ridgway and Amber Cornell (Adam) of Ridgway; and his grandchildren, Kai, Siena, Tucker, Landon, Emery, Macey and Scarlett.
