He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hughes and Mildred Hughes (Gewecke); his siblings, Darrell, Ron, Bob, Shirley Fowler and Carol Motis; his nephews, Doug Hughes and Mike Fowler; and his brother-in-law Bob Hallock.
He is survived by: his wife Twila; his children, Lynn Strickland (Tom) of Englewood, CO, Kurt (Angie) of Parker, CO and Garr (Tracy) of Elizabeth, CO; his siblings, Gerald of Hollister, CA, Genevieve Tanner (Jim) of Valencia, CA, Deloris Murrell (Fritz) of Phoenix, AZ and Sharon Cudaback (Roger) of Exeter, NE; his siblings-in-law, Claire Hallock (Bob) of Joplin, MO and Tom Riley (JoLee) of Prineville, OR; his grandchildren, Lee Strickland (Lacey Strickland) of Kansas City, MO, Riley Hughes (Sam Hughes) of Parker, CO, Hannah Hughes (Jack Hughes) of Castle Rock, CO and Cole Hughes of Kiowa, CO; and his great grandchild Emilia Hughes of Parker, CO. He is also survived by 30 nieces and nephews; and many friends.
