He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Shane and Juanita Shane (Howard); his wife Sandy Shane; his daughter Robyn Shane; his brother Richard Shane; his parents-in-law, Calvin and Dolores Haley; his brothers-in-law, David Wilwerding, Robert and Randy James; and his nephews, Derrick Wendt and Tim Shane.
He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Shane; his close friend De Morrison; his daughter-in-law Amy Shane of Cartersville, GA; his daughter Andrea Melendez (Shane); his son-in-law Matthew Melendez of Aurora, CO; his grandchildren, Cooper Shane and Charli-Anne Shane of Cartersville, GA; his sisters, Karen Wendt of Irvine, CA and Pamela James of Bellefontaine, OH; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Anderson of Urbandale, IA, Diane Jacobs (Ken) of Nodaway, IA, Kathy Cassidy (Bruce) of Missouri and Chris Uhing (Brian) of Arlington, NE. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
