We bid farewell to Marilyn Ann Penley of Pueblo West, Colorado, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 5, 2025 at the age of 96. Marilyn Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Roy Johnson and Lydia A. Johnson (Bonker); her husband Robert H Gaarder (Bob); her daughter Linda Drummond; her caregivers, Leticia and Stephanie; her friends, Kitty and Judy; Micky and Dan.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Gaarder (Janet) and Patricia Gaarder; and her grandchildren, Jason Drummond, Cory Leyba, Tawnee Gaarder, Kendra Gaarder and Kyle Gaarder. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Pueblo in Marilyn's memory.
