He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Trent and Esther Trent. He is survived by: his wife Kerrelyn McCafferty Trent; his children, Ryan McCafferty (Jessica), Michael McCafferty (Linda), Frank Trent, Carla Dru Rogers (Joshua) and Rebecca Ross (David); his grandchildren, Stephanie Robertson (Tyler), Kennedy Canafax (Christian), Dawson Rogers, Parker, Riley, Evrett McCafferty, Connor, Delaney, Grant McCafferty, Liz and Jason Trent; and his great grandchildren, Miles, Charlie Robertson, Adeline and Grayson Canafax.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel (1317 N Main St, Pueblo, CO 81003). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1315 Acero Ave, Pueblo, CO 81004).
