It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard B. Brodt (Pueblo, Colorado), born in Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on August 10, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice; and his parents, Dorothy Brodt and Alden Brodt. He is survived by: his children, Linda Jo Hocking (Frederick) of Pueblo, James (Deidre) of Plandome, N. Y., Marc (Connie) of Longmont, Deborah Kangerga (James) of Henderson and Penee Brodt of Fountain; his grandchildren, Michael Brodt (Marguerite) of Denver, Richard Brodt of Denver, Christina Brodt of Washington, DC, Katherine Boudreau (Eric) of Austin, Andrew Kangerga (Carter) of Fort Worth, Jessica Hopper (Eric) of Colorado Springs, Hoyt Garcia of Colorado Springs and Andrea Garcia of Pueblo West; and his great grandchildren, Connor Brodt, Blake Brodt, Aly, Samuel Boudreau, Victoria, Dalton and Falcon Ricketts.
Memorial Mass, 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, at Christ the King, 1708 Horseshoe Dr. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Howard's name to Sangre de Cristo Hospice and Palliative Care of Pueblo, 1207 Pueblo Blvd. Way, Pueblo, CO 81005.
