He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricio Ortega and Pablitia Ortega. He is survived by: his children, Peggy, Manuel "Manny" Jr. (Verena), Greg, Jeanine, Cristal, Shaundra (Jeremy) and Kevin (Collette); his grandchildren, Derik, Steven, Breanna, James, Essance, Aaron, Kodie, Isaiah, Jude, Diego, Sharon, Felisha and Mario; his great grandchild James Jr.; his siblings, Johnny, Virginia and Jimmy; and his daughter-in-law Vivian. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
