He is survived by: his wife Ellen Sherar (Robertson); his sister Betty Campbell (Sherar); his children, Marlen Sherar, Timothy Sherar, Daniel Sherar (Jana), Robin Arbster and Shelly Walter; and his grandchildren, Megan Arbster, Arleigh Espinoza, Matthew Sherar, Evan Sherar and Luke Sherar.
