He is survived by: his sons, John Messenger and Carl Messenger (Lorina); and his grandchildren, Amanda McClure (Josh), Jennifer Huskin, Jackie Sgambati, Adam Messenger (Brittany), Jonnie Messenger, Nathan Messenger (Megan), Carl Messenger (Samantha) and Dakota Messenger.
