He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Gallegos Sr. and Rebecca Segura Gallegos; his siblings, Tony Gallegos, Willie Gallegos, Gloria Batres, Marcella Maestas and Millie Gallegos; his nieces, Stacy Hernandez, Lillian Fuentes and Pamela Gallegos; and his nephew Donald Gallegos.

He is survived by : his children, Paula Lopez (Gavino Alvardo), Stevie Gallegos of Rocky Ford, Laura Gallegos (Miguel Urquidi), Joe Gallegos of Rocky Ford and Anna Martinez (Anthony) of Rocky Ford; his wife Alice Griego Gallegos; his grandson Eddie; his siblings, Mary Gallegos of Rocky Ford, Julian Gallegos (Marie) of Greeley Colorado and Leroy Gallegos of Wichita Kansas; and his sister-in-law Rose Gallegos of La Junta, Colorado.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
