He was predeceased by: his parents, Encarnacion Chacon and Crotilde Chacon; his son-in-law Ronnie Gonzales; his grandchildren, River and Elishia Chacon; and his siblings, Orlando Chacon (Tina), Adelmo Chacon (Josie), Eufelia Garcia (Solomon), Mary Martinez (Berlie) and Benita Garcia (Gilbert).
He is survived by: his wife Cirila; his children, Encarnacion "Goy" Chacon of Romeo, CO, Frances Gonzales of Romeo, CO, Ruby Martinez (Carlos) of Gypsum, CO, Elipio Chacon Jr. of Romeo, CO, Guadalupe Chacon of Romeo, CO, Stephanie Misch (Travis) of Eagle, CO and Felicia Rodriguez (Alberto) of Romeo, CO.; and his siblings, Sylvia Baroz (Joe) of La Jara, CO and Eddie Chacon (Cecilia) of Romeo, CO.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
