He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Dunavin and Faye Dunavin; his son Jesse Dunavin; his grandson Cody Dunavin; his brother Stephen Dunavin; and his sister-in-law Ellen Dunavin.
He is survived by: his former spouse Gayle Dunavin (Perez); his children, Shane Dunavin and Kelly Dunavin (Robert); his grandchildren, Miranda Dunavin (Russell), Jessica Dunavin, Chance Dunavin, Adrian Dunavin, Sunni Ellis, Taylor Commerford (Mark) and Noah Commerford; his great grandchildren, Abailia Kroschel, Cooper Morgan and Riley Taylor; and his sibling's children, Barbie Faulk (Wes), Chrystall Whitaker and John Dunavin (Kathy).
He had been diagnosed with COVID-19.
