He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Patricio Velasquez and Polonita Olivas; his wife Diane Velasquez of San Acacio; his daughters, Marlene Velasquez of Garcia, CO, Tammy Kornegay (Bobby) of Georgia and Sindy Velasquez of San Acacio; his grandchildren, Eric Velasquez, Melissa Romero, LaShay Velasquez, Cynthia Kornegy and Robert Kornegy; and his brother Alfonso Velasquez of San Acacio. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
