He was predeceased by: his parents, William Herbert and Helen May Riley (Colbert); and his siblings, William "Bill", Robert "Bob", James "Hump", Jeanie Johnson and Mary Jane Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Riley (Brown); his children, Jon Jr. Riley (Jackie), Sherrie Baxter (David) and Scott Riley (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Jordan Riley, Jon James Riley and Braden Baxter; his siblings, Max Riley (Betty), Chester "Tim" Riley (Fretta), Doris Brubaker (Lewis) and Loris Phillips (Jim); and his brother-in-law C. Eugene Smith (Anna).
