He was predeceased by : his parents, Irving C. Beard and Dorothy E. Beard (Raber); his brother James; and his nephew Melvin. He is survived by : his wife Shirley Ellen Kiddoo; his children, Cheryl Burns of Keller, Sheila, Chauncey Latta of Kailua-Kona, Michael and Janet Beard of Ewing; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Ryan Latta, Laura, Joshua, Noah, Hannah and Daniel Beard.
