With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Maksimowicz (South Fork, Colorado), born in Chanute, Kansas, who passed away on July 14, 2018 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Ed Maksimowicz (Marianne) of Colorado Springs, Frances Friederich of Fayetteville, AR, John Maksimowicz (Sheila) of Wichita, KS, Helen Henson (Don) of Chanute, KS and Stephen Maksimowicz (Beverly) of Aurora, CO; her sisters-in-law, Eleanor Kaminsky of Rockport, MA and Sophie Pociask (Steve) of Rochester, NY; her child Mary Catherine; her sisters, Velda, Louise and Josephine; and also, Elvin Negley and Zora Negley. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
