It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Hurst (Sterling, Colorado), who passed away on January 5, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick O. Hurst and Luella Bell Hurst (Hoffmann); his wife Rhoda; his son Mike Mattox; and his siblings, Melvin, Elmer, Ivan, Guy Hurst and Helen Karr.
He is survived by: his children, Gary D. Hurst (Ginny) of Savannah, MO, Kelly Hileman (Terry) of Conway, MO and Cheryl Hurst (Bridgette Henry) of Kansas City, MO; and his grandchildren, Heidi Hurst, Dustin Hurst (Katie), Amber Mattox, Brandon Hileman, Koty Hileman (Tia), Mike Mattox (Emma), Robert Holen (Malissa), Jeff Stratton (Amanda), Vernon Stratton, Jr. and Mindy Kuntz (Erik). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
