He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ertle and Susie Ertle; and his siblings, Marie Brady and Lil Eddie. He is survived by: his children, Francis Ertle of Sterling, Debbie Unrein, Steve Unrein of Sterling, Laura Burland, Shawn Burland of Polson, MT, Melissa Slighter, Donald Slighter of Holland, MI, Roxanne Hutt, David Hutt of Sterling, Jodi Knight and Brian Knight of Pueblo, CO; his stepson Haydon Vaughan of Sterling; his siblings, Clara Headley of Sterling, Lori Frick of Sterling, Pauline Gates of Denver, Barb Mari of Sterling, Helen Philbert, Jim Philbert, Betty Gagliardi, John Ertle, Karen Ertle of Sterling, Bill Ertle, Kathy Ertle of Sterling and George Ertle of Denver; and also Mary Vaughan of Sterling. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
