He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kroeger and Clara Kroeger (Rocker); his wife Betty; and his brothers, Homer, Dale, Mervin, Glenn and Lowell.

He is survived by: his sons, Berry T. Kroeger (Heather) of Greeley, CO and Brian K. Kroeger (Rachel) of Peetz, CO; his sister Charlotte Baca of Albuquerque, NM; and his grandson Oliver Kroeger of Peetz, CO..
